Icinori Editions is a diy publishing project by 2 illustrators Mayumi Otero and Raphael Urwiller to share their passion for experimental printing.

Fantastic execution of craft, and interesting to see a medium that’s so often associated with children’s books being presented in a light that’s more orientated towards adults. Delve more into their work here.

Part of my major project last year saw a teaming up with a set of illustrators and artists to redesign a series of film posters - with a leaning toward artistry over photoshop. They did the illustrations, and I worked the type.

These beautifully detailed oil paintings by Sea Hyun Lee caught my attention. using the negative space as representation of water, and the redness of what would otherwise be a luscious green landscape creates a great contrast which seems both loud, but quite understated at the same time. Nice.
