The Smithsonian National Postage Museum have an amazing collection of Beer Stamps.
From 1866 to 1955, every keg of beer leaving an American brewery was required by Internal Revenue Law to include a Federal beer stamp pasted over the keg’s bung. Generally, beer stamps tend to be very scarce, as they were legally required to be destroyed at the time the keg was tapped, making this book a valuable historical record of an important aspect of brewing history.

Mash Creative were commissioned by Icon Magazine to rethink the brand identity for British Royal Mail, and have done an awesome job on it.
Their approach was to look back at the genesis of the brand, and strip the current designs right back to reflect the original intent. Thankfully they didn’t just slap Helvetica next to the logo and instead created their own typeface and specific guidelines with using type and colour as well as their simplified logo designs.

RSA Stamps
RSA stamp design brief with the subject of ‘celebrating biodiversity’. I produced photographic stamps of endangered animals and each was textured to feel like the animals’ skin using a variety of techniques like embossing and flocking.

‘WWF Poland campaigned for climate change action with a print advertising campaign featuring letters to sunken cities. The three print advertisements feature envelopes with postmarks for Helseanki in Finland, Seadney in Australia, and Seangapore, three harbour cities. “By 2050 many of the world’s cities may be under water”.’
