Mike Bayne is not a photographer, he is a fine art painter. Specialising in images of the everyday and mundane, the very selection of his medium to present such images reveals detail in places that would otherwise be overlooked.

Edward Burtynsky’s photography gives a fascinating visual commentary on the relationship betweens industry, landscape and people.
The work reminded me of photography documentary Manufactured Landscapes, before then realising that was because he made the film.

Jane Fulton is a photographer who put together this self-initiated photography campaign called ‘Crude Awakening’ to help people realize the consequences of the BP Oil spill in a more human aspect. Kudos to those who went for the swim.
